Breed: Female Solomon Island Eclectus
Pet description: Gorgeous five and a half month old female SI eclectus. Due to unknown trauma at some point during or right after weaning (we did not breed this bird) she has a terrible fear of hands. She will lunge and bite if you try and approach her with your hands. We have found she does not stress out at being toweled. She will need someone willing to work a lot with her and who will understand it is going to be a slow process. She gets along great with other birds and loves to play with toys, she is also a good eater and loves sweet potatoes. Her wings have been clipped and her nails were recently trimmed
