The two best things you can do to avoid pet scammers is:

Make sure you talk to someone on the phone. Do NOT do everything via email.
If possible, only look into pets that are local, or that you can reasonably drive to. Avoid any shipping of pets, even with pets that are free.

Pet description: Father is Lab and supposedly Pit. Mother is Bird Dog and supposedly part Pit. Both are very smart and loving and GREAT with kids! Pups will be ready 7/27/2011. They will have their first shots and I will pay 1/2 spay/neuter cost at Evangeline Veterinary Clinic. 7 males, 2 females. 5 are Black with white paws/marks, 2 Brown with white paws/marks, 2 white with black/brown markings. (One male is all white with one black spot by his ear!) Please help them find homes so they don't end up at the pound!
