We hope you'll find the perfect family puppy or dog, but please be aware of pet scams.
The two best things you can do to avoid pet scammers is:
- Make sure you talk to someone on the phone. Do NOT do everything via email.
- If possible, only look into pets that are local, or that you can reasonably drive to. Avoid any shipping of pets, even with pets that are free.

Breed: Black Long coated Labrador Retriever
Pet description: Sammy came into my life a little over a month and a half ago. When he arrived we could see his ribs, his collar was so tight he weezed when I took it off,( it had started to grow into his skin in one spot. The collar was attached to a broken lead so although I felt torn I did post fliers in an attempt to find his owner as well as put him on pet amber alert, but I never heard anything. Unfortunately my husband and I own cats and Sammy (which is what we decided to call this sweet furry guy) does not do well with the feline species. He does get along well with other dogs however. He is eager to please his master, FULL of energy, and would do best in a fenced in yard. I would love to see this sweet creature go to a loving home. He has so much love to give...contact info
