Thanks for shedding light on how to care for senior pups. And you're right, a comfy bed is so important, especially for those dogs that suffer from arthritis. My boss' senior dog has really benefitted from the therapeutic dog beds from the company Draper Canine Therapy. Their beds are great! They provide relief from soreness, stiffness and swelling and they're also machine-washable! Their web site is www.drapercaninetherapy.com if you or someone you know needs this kind of bed for your beloved pooch.

Enjoy!

Thank you so much for providing great senior care info. I take care of pets every day, and sometimes its hard for my clients to realize their dog is a senior! lol. I try to tailor walking my older dogs to suit their physical needs. I do notice that their interests in bones, and toys change as they get older. I end up just petting and cuddling, since they don't want to fecth, etc.
Thanks for the valuable tips!
