Winter Pet Care
The best thing for your pets during winter months is to keep them indoors. However, if that is not possible then an elevated shelter with a door and some insulation will work. Water is a must during cold weather and should always be available. Extra calories are necessary so feed your pet accordingly especially if left outdoors. In case of severe weather, pets should remain indoors.
Cats love to sleep near car engines. If you park outside and are concerned about it, consider honking the horn or checking under the hood. Another good tip is to keep snow and ice cleared from your pets paws.
