Stocking Fish Tank Aquariums: Amount Of Fish?

This is a hugely important matter that will affect the happiness and wellbeing of your fish. You must first of all determine either the volume of your fish tank aquarium or the size of the tropical freshwater fish you would enjoy. A helpful way of measuring is to use the ratio of three gallons of water to one inch of fish. Also, when doing your calculation, base it on the fully developed size of the fish as fish develop quickly!

Gouramis, Rainbow Fish, Swordtails, Mollies, Angels, Cichlids), and bottom-dwelling fish (Cory Cats, Loaches).
It is very important to research the adult sizes, temperaments and optimum water conditions for these tropical freshwater fish to determine which species can be properly matched in your tank aquariums.
Give Them Space!
As human beings, we like our own space and so do tropical freshwater fish! It is not fun, to say the least, to be cramped and feeling stressed, and these feelings of tension are also experienced by the inhabitants of tank aquariums. Take into consideration that these fish are out of their spacious native surroundings and in a congested environment. It is essential that you do not overcrowd and thereby also over pollute the environment within tropical freshwater fish tank aquariums.
