Question by crzycoookies: “Responsible Dog Breeder”?
Just a question.. Would you consider a person who breeds a type of dog without showing it a responsible breeder? ie. A person who breeds labradors.. They still take them out hunting, they do a health screen before breeding, and they keep the breed standard, they have registered dogs, but don’t show their labs?
I was just using labrador because it was the first thing that popped into my head, this is more of a general question for all breeds, except mixed-breeds.

Yes I do. They are breeders, not showers necessarily, and if they have all the papers and everything is in order, then tehy are perfectly good.
